I am a highly-skilled Retail Operations Manager with 25 years of experience.

After working for over two decades in Retail Operations Management, I have advanced knowledge in Sales growth, HR, Finance, Customer Experience, Projects, Merchandise Management, and Visual Merchandising. Moreover, while my previous positions afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including excellent relationship building and collaborating with other departments, I excel at:

Achievements and accolades:
I received numerous awards at Sheet Street as a branch manager for achieving sales targets, improving profitability, reducing shrinkage and maintain good administration standards.
In 2005 MRP/Sheet Street introduced a credit facility for its customers, Midlands Mall in Pietermaritzburg was chosen as a test store to roll out credit, my store achieved the highest sign-up rate for credit in the Group. Subsequently, I was nominated to be part of the Project Team to roll out credit Nationally. After the project was completed, I was promoted to Area Manager.

In TFG I received a Company award for Best Area Manager
In 2011 we received a Team award for Best Region

In JB Sports I developed a product training manual for a new brand, Cantabil that was introduced.
I also developed an SOP manual for Operations
I initiated a health and safety program for Covid 19
I managed a team of 7 Area Managers in Botswana and Namibia with a total workforce of 350 staff.
The annual sales target was 300 million pula ($ 27.5 million)

One of my goals was to become a certified Leadership Coach and Mentor and in August 2020 I received my certification from the John Maxwell Company in the USA.
