would describe myself as modern and eclectic manager, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously cross multiple teams and adapt to the most critical situations.
Strong concentration on details, excellent attitude to negotiations of crucial matters contributing to the success of the entire sales&marketing strategy, trying always to follows the directions carefully and respects the deadlines but keeping at the same time a very positive atmosphere.
I was a good-orientated coordinator of all the activities necessary for the introduction of retailers for two years in Aeroporti di Roma, an extremely complex role because I had to handle the criticality of an airport environment (for example, security) and the needs of new tenants optimizing also the way-out timing of the old ones. As my coworkers described me at that time “Vincenzo proved a capable, pragmatic and efficient professional and contributed to the tremendous improvements in the retail and f & b retail sales achieved during that period.". In the end during my work in Aeroporti di Roma we managed to open plus than 40 shops in 1,5 years, reducing the implementation time of over 30%.
Then for over a year I was on the other “side of the river” acting a PM for one of the tenant I supported during my previous experience and first implementing the new Espressamente Illy concept in Rome and later on fine tuning all activities (HR, Supplier Management, Operations etc.) for the own F&B concept of the company ,“Vacenze Romane”.
Decision to move from Rome to Milan has been easy when Expo Milano 2015 decided that I was the right person to take over the implementation of an infopoint network in travel retail sector supporting also the Commercial Business Unit in most of the activities related to retail…..it has been a great experience. From the scratch I was contacting and negotiating spaces with landlords, coordinating Expo’s providers for operations, concept designing, HR and all other activities related to new opening and shops management inside and outside the Site.
Comarch has given me the opportunity to develop at the same time most of the skills related to Business Development, Key Account Management and Consulting for a wide portfolio of important players on Italian and European market. It was a perfect opportunity to understand the needs of retailers from many sectors, tailor a proper solution, and develop high level relations.
All these experiences has taken me to a 360 degrees overview in Retail: Store Development, Staff Management, Smart Concepts, Customer Engagement, Resources Training, Operations & Maintenance, Suppliers Procurement and so on…this is what I’m currently doing in Iliad Italia as a Retail Development Manager I’m responsible to take the scheme from initial concept design through to full project completion and for every aspect of the day-to-day supervision of retail outlets, including sales, staff and resources management, ensuring to give a great customer experience. From scratch 15 Flagship Stores build and more than 100 resources recruited and managed in less than 2 years.
